The nominees were: 

Steve Tilson – Steve Tilson took charge in November 2003 following the sacking of Steve Wignall. Tilson went on to manage Blues for 358 games, guiding them to two Football League Trophy finals and back-to-back promotions to the Championship.

David Webb - Dave Webb was Blues manager on three occasions (1986-87, 1988-92 and 2000-01). He left two months before promotion was sealed in 1987, but returned to win promotion from the Fourth Division and then the Third Division. He resigned in March 1992 before spending September 2000 to October 2001 as manager again.

Dave Smith - Smith was Blues manager between 1976 and 1983. In his second season, promotion from the Fourth Division was achieved. After relegation two years later Smith helped Blues to promotion again at the first time of asking. He left in 1983.
